I have served as a Copy Write and Social Media intern for the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Student Affairs in Marketing and Communications department. I have written articles on several topics for a range of unique target audiences.

Social Media Management/Fliers

I actively helped maintain content for 10 social media profiles while serving as a Copy Writer and Social Media intern for the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Student Affairs in Marketing and Communications department.

In my leadership roles as the Ivy Leaf Reporter/Social Media manager in my chapter organization (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.) and in my campus organization (Pinky Promise UAB) as the Secretary and Social Media Manager, I provided all of the social media content.

Campaign Materials

During my senior year at UAB, I had the privilege of being a part of a team to create a Crisis Plan for a poorly funded

school that was in need. The development of the Crisis Plan and Memorandum of Understanding was divided among the four other members and myself. The grade sheet and video production/editing was done solely by me.

Due to the serious and legal nature of these documents and

promotional tools, the logo has been cropped out and the full documents are not attached. However, the documents and promotional video are available upon request for further

discussion and questioning of its development in in-person

interviews.

Photography

I had the privilege of gaining experience in website design prior to creating this portfolio with my personal blog site using Weebly. This process also granted me a chance to explore SEO tools.
